Callan Walker is an experienced strategic advisor and team leader with 15 years in the professional sports industry. He has completed university degrees in Law, Marketing and Communications, and Sports Management. Callan brings extensive, demonstrable success across multiple sports industry categories to Sport Leadership Agency, including athlete management; contract drafting and negotiation; commercial brand partnerships and sponsorships; international markets and brands; start-ups; media and content; sports tech and AI platforms; international expansion strategies; sports infrastructure project management; sports philanthropy/grants/fundraising; and sport and social impact programs.

Callan has consulted for and worked in C-suite roles for a number of global sports business entities, including Aurum (a UK-based athlete management & sponsorship firm), Viktre (a media and content platform with a global footprint), Authentic Athletes (a boutique content agency), Veo (a global AI sports technology company) and Inside Running (a global rugby management business). Prior to the sports industry, he worked as a Legal Advisor to a high-profile federal government department in Australia.

Callan believes in the power of sport to make a positive social impact. In addition to his commercial roles, Callan has designed and executed a number of philanthropic programs that use sport as the vehicle for positive social change. He lives on the beach north of Sydney with his wife and three kids. On weekends you’ll find him either catching a wave in the Pacific Ocean or supporting his kids as they compete on sports fields throughout the state, or watching the Sydney Swans and Newcastle Knights chase premiership glory.
