Joe Jackman

With over two decades of pioneering building experiences in leadership and brand development, career and change management fields—which includes exclusive work with the National Hockey League, National Football League, Major League Soccer Players Association, and the Women’s National Basketball Players Association—Joe is a highly regarded strategist and thought leader in the business of sports.

Serving as a business strategist, Joe coaches and mentors forward-thinking leaders who range from active and former elite and professional athletes from all sports, to collaborations with athlete stakeholders and influential leaders and business partners.

Throughout his career, Joe has followed his passion to help trailblazing businesses and brands navigate change, fueling empowerment that propels extraordinary performances, passion, purpose, and sustainable prosperity in sport, business, and life.

A driven competitor—a former NCAA D1 scholarship athlete and NHL UFA—he has evolved into a ‘corporate athlete,’ rising in the ranks in progressive business development, marketing, operations, and management roles.

The innovative thinker and storyteller evolved into an entrepreneur by cultivating relationships and leveraging his niche sports market experiences, proprietary knowledge, and expertise, launching an investor-backed global business, Rembrand Sports Inc., which operated as VIKTRE. Leveraging his proprietary assets and intellectual property, he also launched Won For All—a leadership development platform for active elite and professional athletes.

He has quarterbacked both disruptive start-ups and established business brands. As an intrapreneur, Joe has created four inaugural roles over his career, spearheading growth and expansion strategies for international companies. This included building a global sports practice for LHH, a human capital and talent management firm (formerly DBM), and serving as a National Vice President, as well as leading RiseSmart – a SaaS technology, Silicon Valley startup – into Canada. He also is consulting with the leadership team at SportsShare Technologies’ as Head of Global Community Development and an equity partner.

Today, Joe continues to forge new paths, setting the vision and overall business strategy for the start-up Sport Leadership Agency and Womentum Sports.

His pay-it-forward community experiences include serving as a competitive youth sports coach for over a decade at Burlington Soccer Club and giving back as a mentor to students and aspiring entrepreneurs, as well as fundraising and brand ambassador roles for those in need, with Women Shelters and Big Brothers.
